New iBall Slide i701 launched with affordable price

iBall unveiled their newest tablet in Indian Market the iBall Slide with a price tag of Rs. 4,999 or approximately $79. Domestic brand is calling it the world most affordable Windows tablet, and states it may be available around the major retail shops and e-commerce sites.

iBall Slide i701 runs Windows 8.1 yet the company claims the tablet can be upgraded to Windows 10 whenever it’s released later this year. This comes with a 1 year Microsoft office membership and 1TB free One Drive cloud storage. Boasting a 7 inch HD IPS display, powered by a quad core Intel Atom SoC and supports with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It has a 16GB built in storage that can expand via microSD up to 32GB. Slide i701 tablet has a 2MP main camera with a flash and 0.3MP front facing. Featuring a 3200mAh batter also has connectivity like HDMI port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB with OTG function and a 3G.

How much is the new BlackBerry Leap?

The new BlackBerry is set to release their flagship in India. This new handset has a 5inch 720p full touch display along with Gorilla Glass 3 on its protection. Powered by 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 chipset together with Adreno 225 GPU supports with 2GB of RAM. The BlackBerry Leap loaded with 16GB internal storage that can be expanding up to 128GB through microSD.

BlackBerry OS 10.3.1 running handset comes with 8MP main camera and 2MP on its front. The device is powered by a 2800mAh battery which company stated that it can last up to 25 hours of mixed usage. The worst part of this handset is does not support LTE Band 40 that’s used by present 4G networks mostly in India.

BlackBerry Leap was revealed at MWC or Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier this year. Company stated at the moment it roll out two more devices will be released next month and both have a physical keyboard.

Though the BlackBerry Leap is a mid range smartphone, another smartphone will be released this year and this time it is a high end smartphone featuring a dual curve all touch display along with a keyboard behind the slide. According to the BlackBerry Chief Executive John Chen they still don’t have a code name for it however they may call it The Slide and it will come some time this year.
