Affordable smartphone with a pretty good features

As the battle of affordable smartphones continues, Indian phone maker Lava
released the super cheap smartphone the Iris 414 with a price tag of Rs. 4,049 or 64USD.

This innovative Lava Iris handset is powered by a 1Ghz processor supports with 512MB of RAM. It has a 4inch TFT touch screen along with its resolution of 480x800px. This handset has a 4GB build in storage that can be expand up to 32GB via microSD. The thickness is 10.4mm and has a weighs of 110gram.

Heading to camera, Iris 414 has 3.2MP auto-focus back camera with a digital zoom and LED flash, VGA for selfie aficionados.  This affordable smartphones features almost all main connectivity such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and 3G.

This device is supported by a 1400mAh that can last 12 hours of talk time on 2G network. Lava Iris runs with Kitkat operating system.

Excellent graphics with the new Intex Aqua AMOLED

This will be my first post and I will share to you the Intex Aqua AMOLED. 


This new affordable smartphone has waving the market today; the new Aqua AMOLED is trying to stand out from the group by providing an excellent display. This device features an AMOLED panel which is most generally found in Samsung handsets.

Surprisingly, the display caught the attention of local OEMs in India. The Micromax currently provide a few handset with AMOLED display, however the device that Micromax released which is the Canvas 4 and Canvas Hue had fail in mid range portion. The Aqua AMOLED is an entry level smartphone release. Screen is 4 inches; however the main disadvantage is the resolution that is 640x360px.
